Power Traction & Power Supply Coordinator (Rail Electrification)

Expected compensation: 70K–120K CAD annually

What you will do

• Coordinate the design, testing, and commissioning of traction power systems for metro and rail projects, including OCS, ICDD, IDD, power supply, and power distribution.
• Manage medium- and low-voltage power distribution networks and support their efficient operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between civil, electrical, radar, traction, mapping, and mechanical stakeholders.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure cross-disciplinary integration.
• Provide functional and technical support for ETAP and other electrical simulation and design tools.
• Maintain equipment lists and supervise on-site testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in power traction, electrification, or power distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of traction power supply systems, including ACDD, ICC, and IDD, and related commissioning practices.
• Proficiency with ETAP or equivalent electrical simulation and design software.
• Experience coordinating operational project management in transportation or railway environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with railway and metro industry standards and safety regulations.
