AltaGas - 2027 Projects Engineering Co-op Student (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Calgary, AB, Canada. The role may require travel to operational facilities and project sites.

What you will do

• Support the planning, development, and execution of capital projects.
• Assist with technical reviews, project documentation, engineering deliverables, and coordination.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to cost, schedule, risk, and project performance monitoring.
• Support design, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve project execution.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering co-op program in mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, process, or a related discipline.
• Available for a 16-month co-op term starting in January 2027.
• Willing and able to travel to project and operational sites as required.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, initiative, adaptability, and ownership skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
