Senior Finance Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $105,600–$173,250 per year, depending on US geographic tier; equity offered.

What you will do

• Own the month-end close process in partnership with Accounting and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for the CFO and Board, translating results into insights and actionable takeaways.
• Lead variance analysis and management reporting for executive and department-level performance discussions.
• Maintain the consolidated three-statement model, cash forecast, and long-range financial plan.
• Partner with the People team on workforce reporting, headcount tracking, and hiring-plan visibility.
• Support the implementation and administration of Pigment and drive improvements to finance processes, systems, and data integrity.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity or venture capital, public accounting, or corporate FP&A/strategic finance at a high-growth technology company.
• Direct experience with month-end close, board reporting, and maintaining financial models.
• Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills with the ability to maintain complex, multi-layered models.
• Strong understanding of three-statement modeling, BvA and flux analysis, headcount planning, and expense forecasting.
• Ability to work with imperfect data, structure assumptions, document outputs, and manage recurring cross-functional deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience at a pre-IPO technology company or with public-company readiness.
• Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based revenue models and SaaS metrics.
• Experience with Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or another planning or ERP system.
