Senior Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Oakland, California, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work-from-home options on Tuesday and Friday. U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $120,000–$152,000 per year, plus equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Build, refine, and automate revenue and Annual Revenue Run Rate forecasting models.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on ARR, expansions, renewals, churn, customer cohorts, and revenue metrics.
• Analyze actual results against forecasts and plans, investigate material variances, and explain key drivers to leadership.
• Partner with Accounting, RevOps, and Enterprise Technology to reconcile revenue data, validate inputs, and improve data controls.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and executive and Board reporting.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, revenue finance, or financial analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to analyze complex customer and contract data, investigate data issues, and reconcile disparate data sources.
• Clear communication of financial concepts to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines in a cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARR or ARRR reporting, SaaS metrics, or revenue recognition.
• Experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data-querying tools.
