Staff Financial Analyst - Customer Success FP&A (Fintech)

Location: San Diego, California, or Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $142,000–$192,000 in San Diego or $154,000–$208,500 in Mountain View per year, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with business and finance leaders on short- and long-term strategic and financial planning.
• Build financial models covering business performance, unit economics, return on investment, and scenario outcomes.
• Lead mid-month and month-end financial reviews, identifying and quantifying key variance drivers.
• Own driver-based reporting frameworks for month-end close, quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range planning.
• Manage the consolidated FP&A calendar and deliver accurate financial submissions to Finance and business partners.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or data science in a technology company.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Python or SQL is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate data into strategic insights and business results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related area.
