Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Base pay: $202,500–$274,000 per year

What you will do

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance integrations between fintech solutions and client systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful API, webhook, data transformation, and mapping solutions.
• Lead the design and maintenance of client SDKs in languages such as Java, Python, Node, and Go.
• Create integration test plans, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Produce API specifications, integration guides, SDK documentation, and troubleshooting materials.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and customer support teams while providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or integration roles, preferably in fintech.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API and GraphQL design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one server-side language, such as Java, Python, Node, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, secure coding, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
