Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States, with flexibility across U.S. time zones. The role cannot be hired in Quebec, Ontario, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, or Oklahoma.

Salary: $155,700–$173,000 base salary plus a variable component.

What you will do

• Design system and component-level architectures and collaborate with engineers and architects on technical decisions.
• Own end-to-end execution of key initiatives from design through delivery, managing risks and dependencies.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and influence platform-level technical decisions.
• Maintain engineering standards through code reviews, CI/CD, testing, observability, and DevOps practices.
• Partner with Product, UX, QA, Security, and Infrastructure to deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on code.

Requirements

• 9–12 years of professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of software architecture and system design, with experience delivering large-scale cloud-based systems.
• Experience writing test automation at every level to validate functionality and performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder influence, and change-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with complex technical environments and large-scale production systems.
• Ability to travel less than 10% as business needs require.
