Application Analyst I – Epic Orders

Location: Hybrid; on site three times a month at 885 Third Avenue, New York, NY. Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday, with a rotating on-call shift.

Salary: $92,700–$148,400 per year.

What you will do

• Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Orders applications and clinical workflows.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, and system issues.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support order entry, clinical decision support, worklists, and operational queues within Epic.
• Develop documentation and testing scripts while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Active Epic Orders Certification required.
• Experience supporting Epic Orders applications in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, order management processes, and Epic application support methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and partner effectively with clinical, operational, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic Cupid and/or Epic Radiant.
