Epic Orders Systems Analyst

What you will do

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and support Epic software applications.
• Analyze system requirements, document specifications, and evaluate workflows and user experience.
• Configure Epic environments, maintain applications, implement functionality, and perform routine updates.
• Provide guidance and support to end users, resolve system issues, and create training materials.
• Manage small to medium projects, communicate progress to stakeholders, and perform root cause analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of systems administration experience in one or more Epic modules.
• At least 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Ability to perform analysis, design, configuration, and testing for tasks of basic to moderate complexity.
• Strong customer service, critical thinking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Associate degree, or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Epic Application Certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Nice to have

• Epic Orders experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Bugsy Certification.
