What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, test, and support Maestro Care EHR applications for Health Information Management and revenue cycle workflows.
- Support HIM modules including Release of Information, Legal Medical Record, Document Templates, Identity, Chart Correction, Deficiency Tracking, Chart Tracking, and Break the Glass.
- Analyze workflows, data, reports, and technical issues to guide application design and build decisions.
- Coordinate with Epic and other application teams on implementations, upgrades, bug fixes, enhancements, and deployment tasks.
- Provide business-hours and after-hours support, including participation in a 24/7 production on-call rotation.
- Assist with training, documentation, knowledge transfer, and communication between application teams, service desk staff, trainers, super users, and end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related clinical or technical field, or four years of equivalent technical experience.
- Level 1: at least one year of related experience; Level 2: at least three years of related experience.
- Epic proficiency in a technical or application support area within the timeline defined by Maestro Care policies and procedures.
- Experience with revenue cycle operations, Legal Medical Record workflows, technical support, or healthcare information systems is strongly recommended.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, document, and support Epic applications and participate in an on-call rotation.
- North Carolina clinical licensure or certification is required when applicable.
Nice to have
- Experience with Epic HIM, revenue cycle operations, LMR workflows, reporting, and application build.
- Experience developing test plans, analyzing release notes, and supporting monthly updates, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
