Junior Excess Buyer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Source excess and end-of-life inventory from OEMs and EMS providers.
• Conduct outbound outreach to potential suppliers and follow up on inventory lists.
• Analyze inventory for pricing, demand, and market potential.
• Maintain supplier follow-up, documentation, system updates, notes, and opportunity tracking.
• Collaborate with sales to match available inventory with customer demand.
• Support senior buyers with negotiations, projects, supplier relationships, and pipeline development.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role.
• Strong interest in semiconductors and electronics.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, persistence, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage high-volume outreach and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Exposure to electronic component distribution, brokerage, or excess inventory trading.
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
• Comfort working with large spreadsheets and inventory lists in Excel.
