Procurement Coordinator III (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Administer the purchasing system, including supplier onboarding paperwork, performance metrics, open order reports, policies, procedures, and system improvements.
• Coordinate new supplier setup and maintain supplier master data.
• Review requisitions, clarify specifications, recommend alternatives, and convert approved requests into purchase orders.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements and coordinate with suppliers to meet delivery dates.
• Monitor shipments, expedite orders, resolve delivery errors, and trace undelivered goods.
• Oversee inventory movements, including ordering and receiving, while analyzing purchasing data and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Buyer or Planner, preferably in a medical device environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft AX ERP experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and service-orientation skills.
• Cooperative team-player mindset and a positive attitude.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience in a medical device environment.
• Microsoft AX ERP experience.
