UI/UX Designer Intern - IT

What you will do

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations, Engineering, and Product stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements.
• Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows for internal applications and operational platforms.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to identify experience improvements.
• Translate complex technical processes into intuitive interfaces and support the modernization of internal IT tools.
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components.
• Partner with developers, analyze feedback and performance metrics, and present design recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio featuring UI/UX projects, academic work, personal projects, or relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, usability, visual design, and interaction design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive feedback and iterate effectively.
• Ability to work onsite at the Dallas headquarters.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React or modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
• Interest in enterprise technology, IT operations, cloud infrastructure, security, and digital workplace solutions.
