Senior UX Designer - Homepage, Navigation, and Events (Retail)

Location: San Bruno, California, United States; home office

Annual salary: $117,000–$234,000 in San Bruno, California; $90,000–$180,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Additional performance bonuses may apply.

What you will do

• Lead user research through interviews, surveys, and site visits.
• Develop user journeys, storyboards, interaction designs, and scalable interfaces for homepage, navigation, and shopping events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align UX solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
• Design and prototype experiences using platform guidelines and native mobile conventions.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate designs to improve engagement and satisfaction.
• Document design specifications, patterns, and style guides while mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or a related area plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Extensive experience in user-centered design, user interviews, surveys, journey mapping, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI-assisted tooling for functional prototypes.
• Experience with retail and promotional design or information architecture and systems design for large-scale faceted experiences.
• Strong stakeholder communication, prioritization, qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to create scalable designs aligned with accessibility principles and platform style guides.

Nice to have

• Design certification or a master’s degree in a related design field.
• Experience driving product development in a UX area or working in retail, supply chain, ecommerce, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and inclusive digital design.
