Associate User Experience Designer (UX Design)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite position.

Salary: $82,000–$122,900 annually

What you will do

• Assist in developing products with strong user experiences.
• Apply user experience design, validation, visual design, and communication principles.
• Participate in user experience research using established methods and techniques.
• Collaborate through open critique and communication with cross-functional partners.
• Work under close supervision while following established procedures and company operating principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, graphic or visual communications design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Basic experience with graphic design, interaction design, and display design principles.
• Basic experience with user experience design methodologies and techniques.
• Basic understanding of user experience research methods.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and understand sophisticated problem domains.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in interaction design, graphic or visual communications design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Experience with UX design in sophisticated problem domains.
• Experience with UX design in a business-to-business environment.
