Field Service Technician (Fuel Cells)

Location: Union City, GA 30349, United States; customer-site work and business travel are required.

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, evaluations, retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydrogen storage, high-voltage, cryogenic, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems when required.
• Report breakdowns, order parts, maintain inventory, and complete service, incident, and site documentation.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and provide a standard personal tool set; specialized fuel cell tools are provided.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills, strong communication, independent work ability, and effective time management.
• Reliable, punctual, quality-focused, and able to solve technical problems creatively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
