UHP Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona; onsite work at customer sites, project locations, and company facilities across the region

What you will do

• Install, start up, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair ultra-high-purity gas systems and related equipment.
• Service purifiers, vaporizers, piping systems, control valves, instrumentation, and associated process equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, acceptance testing, and equipment modifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, process, instrumentation, and control-system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate directly with customers, UHP engineers, project teams, and operations personnel.
• Develop work scopes and maintenance plans, support root-cause investigations, and maintain service documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with field service, maintenance, commissioning, or repair in an industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with industrial, mechanical, electrical, or process systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to travel frequently, work at customer facilities and outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights or in confined areas, wear required PPE, and respond to urgent service needs during evenings, weekends, holidays, or unplanned outages.

Nice to have

• Trade or technical degree, apprenticeship, or relevant military service.
• Familiarity with cryogenic systems, compressed gases, process equipment, instrumentation, or semiconductor support systems.
