Staff Electrical Engineer (SATCOM)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of board-level and system-level electronics hardware design for advanced RF communication systems.
• Perform trade studies, select key components, define hardware architecture, and complete detailed designs.
• Lead PCB layout activities, including HDI stackup design and high-speed routing.
• Conduct hardware bring-up, verification, debugging, root-cause analysis, and design reviews.
• Deliver electronics designs through qualification, production, and deployment.
• Lead small hardware engineering teams developing multi-module assemblies and interconnects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and testing.
• Expertise in digital and mixed-signal electronics, including signal integrity, FPGA implementation, ADCs/DACs, and telemetry subsystems.
• Experience with signal- and power-integrity simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, ADS SIPro, or Mentor HyperLynx.
• Experience with point-of-load power converter design, EMI/EMC mitigation, military or DO standards, and production lifecycle activities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
