Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, US, supporting a customer near Scranton, Pennsylvania, with occasional travel to customers in New York and New Jersey. Requires up to 50% domestic and international travel, clean room work, and flexible schedules including nights or weekends when needed.

Salary: $37–$51 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve hirify.global PAS5500 systems at customer sites.
• Analyze diagnostic data and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment.
• Plan service activities, including tools, parts, scheduling, and customer coordination.
• Document service work and provide clear handoffs to internal support teams.
• Train customer staff on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Share technical knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
• Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software, including spreadsheets, presentations, and documentation tools.
• Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical problems independently and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US export regulations.
