Customer Engineer II - CVD/PVD

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation and service delivery.
• Work in clean-room environments and perform physical activities including walking, climbing, lifting up to 35 lbs., and using hand and power tools.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer or field service support experience, or 2–4 years for preferred consideration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools, digital multimeters, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all onsite safety, environmental, and COVID-19 protocols.
