Senior Application Engineer (Fire Protection)

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite. Up to 25% domestic and international travel is required, including customer visits, seminars, and supervised jobsite visits.

What you will do

• Provide engineering consulting and technical support to customers and the sales organization by phone, email, written correspondence, and joint customer calls.
• Build technical expertise in hirify.global products, commercial fire protection systems, and applicable FM, UL, and NFPA codes and standards.
• Investigate field installations, troubleshoot product issues, evaluate returned products, and prepare root cause reports.
• Develop solutions to complex technical situations using independent judgment, ingenuity, and urgency.
• Support new product development with customer and field feedback.
• Conduct customer training sessions, presentations, seminars, facility support, and supervised jobsite visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, or related systems and components.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measurement tools and interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and prepare concise technical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions; ability to lift within approved EHS limits and work on ladders and scaffolds.
