Consultant, Human Resources Technology Consulting (Workday)

Location: Hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio, at One hirify.global Plaza

Salary: $108,000–$162,000 expected starting annual salary range; national range $108,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and improve HR systems across payroll, benefits, absence, compensation, talent, recruiting, self-service, mobile, security, and integrations.
• Lead complex HR technology projects, including user testing, validation, release management, defect resolution, and system performance improvement.
• Develop solutions and resolve issues through business analysis, process design, configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to align HR processes and system integrations with business strategies.
• Document configurations and HR processes, maintain configuration workbooks, and lead scheduled and ad hoc training.
• Serve as a primary consultant for issue resolution, demand management, process improvement, and client relationship management.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, insurance, or technology.
• Eight or more years of experience in business analysis, technology, process design, and/or operations.
• Three to five years of related experience in core HR functions with demonstrated HRIS experience, preferably Workday.
• Experience with system configuration, testing, integrations, reporting, release management, and defect or problem resolution.
• Strong skills in business consulting, process analysis and design, data and analytics, problem solving, communication, influencing, and relationship management.
• Must work in a hybrid arrangement based in Columbus, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Workday Security architecture, configuration, and governance experience.
• Experience with Workday reporting, Workday Financials, VNDLY, Workday Help, Extend, or Adaptive Planning.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
• Project management experience and experience working with senior leaders.
