  • At least 1 year of experience in the design, manufacturing, or production of mechanical or electrical hardware systems.
  • Experience manufacturing high-reliability electronics for aerospace or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with wire harnessing, PCBA production, or electromechanical assembly.
  • Ability to collaborate with design engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams and support technicians on the production floor.
  • For senior and staff levels, experience leading end-to-end process development or NPI efforts, mentoring engineers, and establishing manufacturing validation and documentation standards.

Nice to have

  • Experience with IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, including space addenda.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability, design for testability, GD&T, and drawing reviews.
  • Experience with Altium, NX, SolidWorks, MES, or PLM systems.
  • Experience designing custom tooling and test fixtures or using power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes for circuit troubleshooting.
