Supervisor, Operations Management - 2nd Shift (Defense Tech)

Location: Londonderry, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 2nd shift. Schedule: 4/10, with 10-hour days four days per week. Security clearance eligibility may require U.S. citizenship.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations across assigned manufacturing production lines and communicate production goals.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing organization.
• Track performance metrics including 6S, on-time delivery, production levels, downtime, and buffer-system integrity.
• Monitor production yields and failure trends while leading yield-improvement activities.
• Enforce safety requirements, material-handling procedures, work instructions, routers, logs, and calibration requirements.
• Maintain personnel records, provide feedback and recognition, and prepare annual performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of prior experience, or a graduate degree with 7 years of prior experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of related experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing production operations and managing process execution.
• Ability to coach employees, resolve operational issues, and communicate production and safety expectations.
• U.S. citizenship may be required for positions requiring a security clearance.
• Employment is subject to applicable background checks and, where permitted, pre-employment substance-abuse testing.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and measurement systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and continuous improvement.
