Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations Management (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite weekend night shift from Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM

Salary: $71,500–$95,000 per year, with actual pay based on skills and experience

hirify.global is a global manufacturing company producing echucks and other coated products through specialty coatings, assembly, vacuum processing, and wet etch operations.

What you will do

• Supervise and develop technicians across the Echucks and Specialty Coatings departments.
• Lead shift performance for safety, quality, delivery, output, schedule adherence, and OEE.
• Investigate safety and quality issues, lead cross-functional corrective actions, and facilitate 8D problem solving.
• Run daily Tier meetings, conduct floor walks, and implement 6S initiatives and GEMBA walks.
• Coordinate with production planners to maintain schedules and prevent delivery delays.
• Build training plans, mentor team leads and operators, support hiring, and provide career development feedback.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of supervisory experience in a highly demanding environment.
• Ability to work with chemicals and in a cleanroom and production-floor environment.
• Strong safety, quality, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system; familiarity with Camline systems for SPC.
• Availability for weekend work, shifts beyond eight hours, on-call support, and schedule changes covering Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday.

Nice to have

• Experience leading 8D investigations with minimal assistance.
• Experience with 6S, GEMBA walks, structured training, and continuous improvement.
• Background in production planning and systematic problem solving.
