Project Manager GigaBase Delivery (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; full-time work in the Houston office with bi-weekly work-from-home Fridays. Travel to sites, factories, and vendors is expected, with coordination across US and China time zones.

What you will do

• Convert signed scope and engineering inputs into module, long-lead, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, freight, customs, and site-readiness plans.
• Build and maintain integrated delivery schedules with dependencies, float, milestones, and change impacts.
• Coordinate product, procurement, factory, vendor, and logistics commitments across the United States and China.
• Drive shipment, hold, and resequencing decisions while documenting schedule and cost consequences and securing required approvals.
• Control scope changes and delivery risks, assign owners, escalate trade-offs, and hand complete acceptance information to construction.
• Develop repeatable delivery processes, use AI to reduce manual reconciliation, and help define the order-execution platform.

Requirements

• Experience delivering engineered equipment, manufactured products, or capital-project packages with personal accountability for schedule and results.
• Ability to build linked delivery schedules covering long-lead procurement, manufacturing, inspection, freight, customs, and site readiness.
• Experience coordinating overseas manufacturing or vendor teams and holding cross-functional owners accountable without direct authority.
• Sound judgment on delivery trade-offs, scope changes, escalation, and the distinction between project decisions and engineering approvals.
• Ability to create tracking systems, reconcile conflicting data, and develop reusable first-project processes.
• Effective daily use of AI for project work, including verification against source documents and identification of required human review; candidates often bring five or more years of relevant experience.

• Data center, electrical equipment, or modular infrastructure delivery experience.
• Mandarin proficiency.
• Experience helping define or roll out an operations platform.
• PMP or equivalent project-management training.
