What you will do

  • Serve as the owner's representative and oversee project staff, field operations, office operations, and supporting functions.
  • Manage project execution, schedules, budgets, reporting, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Oversee engineering, construction, quality, safety, environmental, third-party, and community outreach activities.
  • Represent the client with public agencies, utilities, permitting authorities, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead safety programs, constructability reviews, contract governance, and recommendations for efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate construction with transit operations and oversee federal and state requirements, including Buy America, Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, and DBE obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of construction management experience on transit or public infrastructure projects, preferably projects valued at $30 million or more.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience managing major construction contracts of similar size and scope.
  • Working knowledge of WSDOT and APWA standard specifications for road, bridge, and municipal construction.
  • Experience with FTA-funded projects and federal contract compliance requirements.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license or ability to obtain one; on-site work at client locations is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with GC/CM, design-build, preconstruction, and construction phases.
  • Relationships with Washington transit agencies and public works departments.
  • Experience with EV charging or transit electrification infrastructure.
  • Contractor-side experience as a project manager, superintendent, or project engineer.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and construction document management platforms such as Procore, e-Builder, or Unifier.
