Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote for candidates based in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, or Colombia; Pacific Time overlap required

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve production frontend features for a large-scale cloud management web console using React and TypeScript.
• Develop complex forms, configuration workflows, dashboards, and interactive application experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with production REST APIs, handling state, validation, errors, loading states, and API responses.
• Write unit and integration tests alongside feature development and maintain existing test suites.
• Own features from requirements and technical design through implementation, deployment, and production verification.
• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and designers through code reviews, technical discussions, and asynchronous communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend software development experience.
• Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, React hooks, state management, component architecture, and complex forms.
• Practical experience writing unit and integration tests for production frontend applications.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging issues across UI, state, API, and application layers.
• Experience with large shared codebases, Git, pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, build processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using GenAI-assisted coding tools while independently validating, testing, and maintaining the resulting code.

• Experience working with monorepos and established design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or broader full-stack development.
• Experience developing GenAI-powered products or user experiences.
• Experience with complex cloud portals, developer tools, administrative consoles, dashboards, or configuration-heavy applications.
• Experience improving shared frontend tooling, architecture, or developer experience.
