React Developer with Next.js

Location: Remote in Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, or LATAM

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer-facing checkout and payment interfaces with React.
• Develop reusable UI components aligned with the shared design system and established design patterns.
• Integrate REST APIs and BFFs exposed by Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, SEO, reliability, and secure handling of payment and customer data.
• Design unit and end-to-end tests, participate in code reviews, and release changes safely with feature flags.
• Collaborate with UX, product, backend, infrastructure, and delivery teams on conversion improvements, CI/CD, monitoring, incident resolution, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience with React.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SOLID principles, and common frontend design patterns.
• Experience integrating REST APIs or BFFs.
• Experience with automated testing practices and familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD concepts.
• Fluency in Spanish required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Webpack, design systems, component libraries, or end-to-end testing.
• Awareness of Core Web Vitals, WCAG, secure handling of sensitive data, and basic SQL.
• English for documentation and international collaboration.
