Frontend Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 1–2 days per week at the Columbia, Maryland office; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $111,662–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse.
• Write and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build cohesive user experiences.
• Define and integrate REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and perform quality assurance testing.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.
• At least 5 years of frontend software development experience with a related bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, or Backbone.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software and comfort working on a Unix-like command line.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification, such as Security+, within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular attendance at the Columbia, Maryland office.
