Team Lead Frontend (React/Angular)

Location: Remote or on-site in Armenia, Cyprus, or Poland. Offices are available in Yerevan, Limassol, and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Lead frontend development for primarily React and Angular admin panels.
• Define and maintain frontend engineering standards, development practices, and documentation.
• Review code, make technical decisions, refactor complex systems, and manage technical risks and dependencies.
• Design and evolve scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend applications.
• Coordinate requirements, dependencies, and payment flows with Product, Backend, QA, Design, and Architecture.
• Mentor engineers, delegate effectively, provide feedback, and increase team autonomy and ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience and 1+ years in a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript standards, frontend architecture, state management, hooks, component design, and software design principles.
• Understanding of frontend performance, security, reliability, observability, API integrations, Git, CSS preprocessors, unit testing, and frontend testing practices.
• Experience defining engineering standards, conducting code reviews, making technical decisions, and refactoring complex frontend systems.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level required.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Angular.
• Experience with modular frontend architecture and ownership of standalone modules within a larger product ecosystem.
• Experience with frontend monitoring, performance metrics, error tracking, CI/CD pipelines, and build or deployment processes.
• Experience with payment, fintech, or other high-load transactional systems.
