Strategic Sourcing Manager

Location: Hybrid in Birmingham, AL or Minneapolis, MN, with regular in-office attendance. Birmingham roles typically require at least 2 days per week in the office; Minneapolis roles typically require at least 1 day per week.

Salary: $75,200–$114,400 per year

What you will do

• Build and execute category management plans for indirect spend.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contracting activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex and ambiguous sourcing projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams and partner with subject matter experts to develop strategies focused on total cost of ownership.
• Present recommendations to stakeholders, build a project pipeline, and drive organizational change.
• Balance category management with collaborative leadership while coaching and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with procurement and spend management or analytics tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and resolve differences of opinion.
• Eligibility to work in a hybrid office environment in Birmingham or Minneapolis.

Nice to have

• MBA or Juris Doctor degree.
