Strategic Sourcing Manager, IT Category

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for IT, including spend analysis, RFIs/RFPs, negotiations, and implementation.
• Identify and deliver measurable savings across software, SaaS, hardware, cloud, telecom, and IT services.
• Build relationships with IT and business unit stakeholders and manage adoption of new sourcing strategies, vendors, and processes.
• Negotiate IT agreements, manage contract lifecycles, and ensure compliance and controls.
• Manage key vendor relationships and support issue resolution and ongoing negotiations.
• Improve procurement intake, approval workflows, tooling, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Security, and other teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, including at least 3 years of direct IT category sourcing experience.
• Working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, including spend analysis, category strategy, RFx, negotiation, implementation, and savings validation.
• Strong understanding of IT cost structures and pricing models, including licensing, total cost of ownership, consumption, and labor rates.
• Strong contract management, negotiation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
• Experience with Coupa or a similar procurement/P2P platform, including intake and approval workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, information technology, or a related field required.

Nice to have

• MBA or a relevant professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP.
• Knowledge of compliance and experience with controls.
