Manager, Procurement

Location: New York, United States; hybrid working opportunities available

Annual base salary: $125,000–$145,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies from requirements gathering and market analysis through negotiation, contracting, implementation, and renewal.
• Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, and execution plans for senior stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms, service-level agreements, performance measures, and renewals.
• Build pricing, scenario, and total-cost models while managing contract risks, obligations, milestones, and renewal planning.
• Analyze spend, suppliers, departments, and regions to identify savings, consolidation, demand, and commercial risk opportunities.
• Support logistics, supply continuity, procurement transformation, governance, systems, reporting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five to ten years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, sourcing practices, contract renewals, and purchasing operations.
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial terms and produce financial and pricing analyses.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and executives across functions without direct authority.
• Strong project management, communication, judgment, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, financial services, quantitative trading, or another technically complex environment.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP Ariba, GEP, or comparable ERP, source-to-pay, contract-management, or procurement platforms.
• Experience with procurement-system implementation and transformation initiatives.
