Chief of Staff (Crypto Payments)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. Hybrid role with employees in the San Francisco, New York, and Bangalore hubs expected to work from the office at least 40% of the time, approximately two days per week. Additional in-office requirements may apply.

Base salary: $250,000–$275,000 USD per year, excluding commission, equity, and benefits. Compensation may be adjusted for candidates outside New York or San Francisco based on the applicable market and location-based pay band.

What you will do

• Act as the CEO’s strategic partner and represent the CEO with the executive team, board, partners, and investors.
• Own annual and quarterly planning, OKRs, leadership reviews, executive meetings, town halls, and company performance reporting.
• Oversee Business Operations and establish clear ownership, measurement, accountability, and cross-functional execution.
• Build hirify.global’s M&A and Corporate Development function, including the acquisition thesis, target pipeline, and team.
• Lead acquisitions, license acquisitions such as VASP and MTL entities, and strategic investments from sourcing and valuation through diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration.
• Drive strategic initiatives across new markets, partnerships, pricing, unit economics, organizational design, and AI-powered operating workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or as a CEO Chief of Staff.
• Experience building and managing a function from scratch, including hiring and leading a team.
• Direct experience owning operating cadence, planning, OKRs, executive reviews, board preparation, and company metrics at a scaling startup.
• Hands-on leadership of multiple acquisitions or strategic investments through sourcing, valuation, diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration.
• Experience with crypto, fintech, or payments transactions, including licensed entities such as VASP, MTL, or EMI, and regulatory approvals.
• Strong executive presence, communication, judgment, financial modeling, commercial thinking, and a network across crypto and payments ecosystems; willingness to travel internationally.

• Experience in high-growth startup environments, preferably Series B or later.
