Chief Operating Officer (AI)

Location: Based in New York City with a hybrid schedule: on-site Tuesday through Thursday and work-from-anywhere on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $300,000–$330,000, inclusive of base, bonus, and a full benefits package.

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic executive partner to the CEO and help lead enterprise-wide decision-making and execution.
• Design organizational performance systems, including KPIs, dashboards, analytical infrastructure, and Board reporting.
• Scale internal tools, workflows, AI-native processes, operational infrastructure, and accountability systems.
• Architect organizational structure, reporting lines, workforce planning, capacity building, and change management.
• Oversee finance, HR, talent, culture, facilities, internal systems, core workflows, and revenue collections, including the hirify.global Bond.
• Directly manage and align the VP of Finance, VP of People, General Counsel, Head of AI Implementation, Head of Facilities and Operations, and other leaders.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in business operations or operations leadership, ideally combining consulting or strategy experience with hands-on operating experience.
• Experience building and running operations, HR, or people systems in a growing organization.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including close partnership with strategic finance functions.
• Track record of designing operational systems, executive-level KPI frameworks, real-time dashboards, and strategic reporting for complex organizations.
• Deep experience in organizational design, structural transformation, team topology, performance management, and enterprise-wide scaling.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, a bias toward building, and strong motivation to advance economic opportunity for low-income and underrepresented communities.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
