Field Service Technician 1 (iGaming)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States. Customer-facing field role with work at other facilities as required. The primary schedule is first shift, Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday off; other shifts may be assigned.

Salary: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime and other supplemental earnings.

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic testing, software configuration, and functional testing on video lottery terminals, electronic table games, and related equipment.
• Use the Management Terminal to verify video lottery terminal status and investigate customer issues.
• Prepare accessories, conversions, and installations according to change orders, with limited supervision.
• Complete incident reports, maintenance records, and detailed daily and weekly technical logs.
• Follow gaming commission standards, company procedures, vehicle and equipment safety rules, and approved personal protective equipment requirements.
• Review technical issues with management and technical leads while maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
• One year of experience assembling, testing, and repairing electronic gaming devices, or six months of experience plus a related gaming school certificate or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, mechanics, network communication, network troubleshooting, PC operation, and security risks.
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals, use hand and power tools safely, troubleshoot to the assembly level, and use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds over short distances and transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
