Lottery Field Service Technician

Location: VA Statewide, Virginia, United States; regular fieldwork at retailer locations

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Transport, install, maintain, and organize lottery equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures in the field by swapping failed equipment, cleaning components, and making minor adjustments.
• Service equipment at retailer locations and maintain it for continuous operation.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and accurately report service activity, travel times, problems, and resolutions.
• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, track inventory, and complete service documentation.
• Train new and existing retailers on equipment procedures such as changing paper and ribbons.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience and one year of technical repair experience.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to perceive colors correctly.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and drive for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work with tools, moving parts, and electrical current, including in close quarters, at heights, and in inclement weather.
• Must perform regular onsite fieldwork at retailer locations across Virginia.
