Full Stack Engineer (Contractor)

Location: Remote, with approximately 40–50% overlap with US Pacific Time working hours required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application functionality, with more than 90% of the work focused on backend development.
• Deliver features across the full development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment.
• Build and maintain third-party API integrations, including authentication, webhooks, rate limiting, backoff, and error handling.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clean, reusable code within a Laravel and React architecture.
• Provide light React frontend support and use AI-assisted development tools while validating code quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical contributors while improving development practices and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software solutions.
• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise; React experience is advantageous.
• Practical experience with API integration patterns, technical documentation, and evolving requirements.
• Experience using AI tools for software development and understanding security and data privacy best practices.
• Strong communication skills, independence, accountability, and experience working in remote and distributed environments.
• Ability to provide approximately 40–50% overlap with US Pacific Time working hours.
