Full Stack Software Engineer (C#/JavaScript)

What you will do

• Build and maintain event-driven microservices and APIs in a distributed architecture.
• Develop dynamic web applications using React, Node, and Backbone while supporting the migration to React.
• Develop infrastructure on AWS and contribute to event-streaming and big-data solutions using Kafka and Spark.
• Extend Campaign Monitor features and scale systems for continued growth.
• Shape architecture decisions, review code, mentor engineers, and own problems from scoping through long-term maintenance.
• Support production software, including participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or 3+ additional years of relevant industry experience instead of a degree.
• Fluency in at least two programming languages, preferably including C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and RDS storage options, including selecting the appropriate technology for each use case.
• Comfort using AI-augmented development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor with sound judgment regarding design, correctness, and security.
• Strong communication, collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and instrumentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-streaming architecture and stream processing using Kafka or Spark.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
