What you will do

• Prepare and compile federal documents required for the discharge of foreign cargo at domestic ports.
• Serve as a contact point for existing and new customers, importers, carriers, brokers, and other logistics partners.
• Arrange daily customs clearance activities and monitor customs broker procedures and reports.
• Enter and verify system data, prepare and check invoices, and close completed jobs.
• Apply standard operating procedures to meet customer-specific requirements and support customer meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• A college degree is required.
• Knowledge of import and export procedures, customs clearance, and customs policy.
• Good communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, plus the ability to learn additional computer programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
