Logistics Coordinator - Warehousing & Distribution (Logistics)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia, USA; onsite warehouse and office coordination

Salary: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process customer orders, work orders, receiving records, inventory movements, allocations, shipments, and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation in warehouse management systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, provide operational and inventory reports, and communicate shipment updates and exceptions.
• Prepare invoices, verify billing accuracy, audit domestic transportation invoices, and process credits and adjustments.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, transportation providers, carriers, vendors, finance teams, and customers to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain account files, damage and discrepancy records, backorder logs, returned-merchandise documentation, and compliance records.

Requirements

• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and with external customers and vendors.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Work authorization sponsorship is not available, and relocation assistance is not provided.
