Air Import Agent (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate smooth and timely air import freight processes from shipment tracking through delivery.
• Enter accurate shipment data into the operating system and use daily workflow processes.
• Send import documentation to customers and customs brokers and manage client and service provider billing.
• Communicate with customers, airlines, trucking companies, and other suppliers regarding international shipments.
• Maintain compliance with internal operating standards, government regulations, customer requirements, and department KPIs.
• Follow and update customer procedures while identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of air documentation processes is preferred.
• IATA certification is preferred.
