Senior Corporate Counsel - Government Contracting (Healthcare AI)

Location: Remote - Tier 1, United States

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex government contracts in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and agency-specific requirements.
• Advise on government sales strategy, solicitation reviews, bid submissions, negotiations, implementation, and ongoing contract compliance.
• Translate government contract obligations into internal processes and assess adherence across the business.
• Partner with sales, partner success, security, product, commercial legal, and Legal Operations teams.
• Improve contract templates, playbooks, processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor regulatory developments and manage outside counsel on complex legal matters.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a legal function, including at least 3 years advising on government contracting and related compliance.
• Experience with government contract implementation and ongoing compliance.
• Ability to manage tight timelines, competing priorities, and a high volume of contracts.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills with technical, security, and sales teams.
• Ability to work independently in a small team with a high degree of autonomy and trust.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with bid protest proceedings.
• Experience in healthcare or healthcare technology.
• Experience developing creative approaches to novel contractual matters.
