Contract Manager (AI)

Location: Mountain View, United States, or remote with a hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $175,000–$400,000 for mid-career candidates; $250,000–$600,000 for senior-career candidates, plus equity

What you will do

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing MSAs, DSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and SLAs.
• Establish and administer a centralized Contract Lifecycle Management system for audit readiness and accurate record-keeping.
• Track contract milestones, renewal windows, pricing escalations, and supplier performance obligations.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, and Legal on templates, negotiation playbooks, and risk frameworks.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual terms, IP protection, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
• Resolve contractual disputes and non-conformance issues with Sourcing and Legal counsel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial contract administration in high-tech or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of commercial law, contract terms, IP licensing, liability limitations, and indemnity clauses.
• Hands-on experience deploying or administering CLM platforms such as DocuSign CLM.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tight timelines while balancing operational speed with legal compliance.
• Ability to perform the role in compliance with U.S. export control laws without requiring an export-control license.
