Litho Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Malta Fab 8 site, New York, USA. Full-time role with alternating 12-hour day and night shifts; minimal travel is required.

Salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year, determined by qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Monitor, sustain, and improve lithography equipment and assigned manufacturing processes.
• Schedule and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor, control, and test equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PC/software-related equipment issues.
• Recover equipment from process interruptions, document events, and communicate shift handoffs to lead technicians and engineers.
• Support safe operations, training, procedure improvement, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One of the following: a 2-year technical degree, 2 years of relevant military experience, or 4 years of relevant technical experience.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Basic reading, writing, computer navigation, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom for extended periods while wearing required cleanroom clothing and PPE.
• Ability to work alternating 12-hour shifts, including day or night shifts, stand and walk for extended periods, climb, crouch, crawl, use hand tools, and periodically lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering technology, military service, or a trade.
• Four or more years of direct semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of statistical process control, structured troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Project management, planning, organization, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
