Salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

  • Monitor, sustain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment and assigned tool sets.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to operating procedures.
  • Monitor, control, and test equipment for manufacturing readiness.
  • Recover equipment from process interruptions, document events, and complete end-of-shift handoffs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, computer, and software-related equipment issues.
  • Communicate equipment status and work updates to lead technicians, engineers, and production partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One of the following: a two-year technical degree, two years of relevant military experience, or four years of relevant electrical or mechanical experience.
  • English fluency in written and verbal communication, plus basic reading, writing, and computer navigation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom while wearing required cleanroom clothing and personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, use hand tools, and operate a computer for extended periods during 12-hour shifts; ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
  • Willingness to work flexible alternating day or night shifts, including scheduled weekend shifts.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, military equivalent, trade equivalent, or equivalent experience.
  • Four or more years of direct semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
  • Experience with statistical process control, structured troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Planning, organizational, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.
