Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Pre Op Clinic, Full-time, Days

Location: Huntley, Illinois, with five-day-per-week orientation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital followed by work at hirify.global Huntley Hospital and remote telehealth visits.

Salary: $61.00–$79.67 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess and optimize patients for safe anesthesia and surgery through comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Provide direct clinical care in person and through telehealth.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, medications, therapies, and other procedures within clinical privileges.
• Follow up on testing and evaluate patients until they are ready for surgery.
• Educate patients and families, document care, and coordinate referrals with physicians and other disciplines.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, staff education, committees, and student preceptorship.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Illinois licensure is required: APRN certification and Illinois APRN licensure, or Illinois Physician Assistant licensure.
• Eligibility to apply for a controlled substance license and DEA number after licensure.
• Credentialing and privileging through NM MSO Credentialing.
• Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Availability for a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.
