Electro Mechanical Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: East Greenville, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site, 2nd shift

Pay: Up to $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Respond to service calls and repair and maintain plant and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, motion-control, conveyor, servo, textile, and PLC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment installations, modifications, and updates.
• Use technical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting, repairs, and root cause analysis.
• Follow lockout/tagout, arc flash, confined-space, hot-work, EHS, GMP, and other safety and quality procedures.
• Document repairs in CMMS, maintain clean work areas, and participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus a technical certification in a related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years with mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Ability to read and use mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Prior troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain and maintain one; welding knowledge or willingness to learn MIG/TIG welding.
• Basic PLC and ladder logic knowledge; Allen-Bradley experience is advantageous. Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in maintenance, mechatronics, or an engineering-related discipline.
• CMMS experience, especially Maximo, for preventive maintenance and inventory management.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodology.
