Maintenance Mechanic I (Manufacturing Equipment)

Salary: $46,400–$58,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to support plant production.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and control systems.
• Rebuild, modify, install, and improve production machines and components.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and maintain Maximo work orders and quality records.
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists, vendors, equipment suppliers, production, and quality teams on equipment projects.
• Support PMT, TPM, Lean Maintenance, Lean Energy, operator training, inspections, 6S, and cGMP activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and at least two years of experience repairing mechanical systems, in industrial maintenance, or equivalent technical experience.
• An associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, control circuits, electrical issues, mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup problems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform bending, climbing, reaching, balancing, and related physical duties.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
